Our Profile


norden.studio is a creative practice founded in 2021 and based between Frankfurt and Copenhagen. We develop so-called ‘lovebrands’ within the B2B, hospitality, design, and lifestyle industries - brands that are not only preferred, but loved beyond reason.

We create brands from the ground up: from defining convincing ideas to designing distinctive identities and translating them into relevant, high-impact content across channels.

In parallel, we work with existing brand portfolios - clarifying the roles of core and supporting brands and shaping coherent systems through strategies such as endorsement, selective rebranding, and synergy building.

We operate through a curated network of specialists, assembling bespoke teams for each project. Depending on its scope and ambition, we collaborate with independent talent as well as select partner agencies - ensuring the right level of expertise at every stage.

This fluid model enables us to build brand concepts and house-of-brands systems that are more focused, more differentiated, and measurably more successful.


Meet the creative.

norden.studio has been founded by Tobias Gaertner in 2021 to help businesses with developing and implementing innovative brand concepts and become/stay relevant. Depending on the individual needs of the project, Tobias and his team of creatives - including graphic designers, photographers, architects, web developers and more - are used to working together, perfectly tailored to each individual project.

Tobias, born and raised in Frankfurt (Germany), is a graduate from two of the leading business schools in Germany, WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management (Bachelor) and Frankfurt School of Finance (Master). He started his career as project manager to the CMO of former travel giant, Thomas Cook, where he could gain deep insights into the hospitality business.

From 2016 to 2022 Tobias acted as Head of Brand for the award-winning hotel brand, Casa Cook - now under the ownership of Goldman Sachs. Together with Remo Masala and a small group of premium lifestyle experts, he helped with building up the brand from scratch and developed it to one of the most loved lifestyle hotel collections in the Med.

After kick-starting the innovation hub, vision alphabet, where he has been in charge of marketing & branding as well as digital strategy for brands such as Casa Cook, Cook’s Club, Bold Hotels, the comodo, Tobias founded norden.studio to help companies across industries with creating powerful brands with a convincing story to tell.
